This is a Grizzly favorite. As a pup, he LOVED soccer balls and actually kicking the ball with his paws, but anyone with a powerful dog knows that soccer balls do not last very long. The Indestructible Ball (14″) was given to Grizzly as a gift this last spring. He was obsessed with it from the moment I pulled it out of the box. He will spend hours bopping it around the yard on his own with his nose and paws. He also will chase it if you throw it for him. Nala would much rather chase a smaller ball that she can fit in her mouth to retrieve vs having to dribble the ball back to us.
We highly recommend this ball for the rough and tough players! It is made of a hard, durable plastic. So far, it has held up to hours of play on rough terrain (gravel, sand, concrete) with repeated throws where it happens to hit our stone wall- it takes quite the beating multiple times a day. Because of its massive size, Grizz is unable to get a grip on it with his teeth, which means he can’t try to “pop” or destroy it. I’ve noticed a big increase in Grizzly’s core strength since he started playing with this ball. The only downside of this ball is that, because it gets played with in the gravel, the plastic gets a little rough/cut up- Grizz plays with it so much that he has developed callouses on his dog ankles that withstand the rough plastic and he is totally un-phased by this.
